I ordered the 24 peices Wacky Tracks for review, with the intention of using them as a creative building toy.Obviously, you can enjoy the Wacky Tracks as 24 separate individual toys. But before I had ordered this item for review, I had gotten a sample of the Wacky Tracks toy beforehand. So having had the fun with just one unit of 24 links, and seeing this opportunity to try out the toy with even larger size variations I decided to get creative.The Wacky Tracks, do not seem to be designed for easy disassembly. And if you want to make something like the turtle pictured, you will need some measured brute force to remove and resize the various chains of links.I started by counting the total package, you get 24 Wacky Tracks containing two alternating colored chains.There are 8 chains of Orange/BlueThere are 8 chains of Blue/GreenThere are 8 chains of Green/OrangeSome of the pre-assembled chains start and end with different colors, but that is easy to fix. (And end up identical when assembled together.)In total there are 576 total links, of which there are 192 of each of the three colors.However don't get your hopes up, as disassembling the entire chain to reform a chain of a single color is very difficult to do. (it's not impossible. but you can't pull two links apart, you would have to use another method.)The Good:+ Loads of fun+ The Wacky Tracks come detached, so even if you don't want to struggle to detach them, you can make large ones to start with no problem.+ interesting shapes and designs to explore for the more creative person.+ Wacky Tracks are very hard to pull apart, making them safer for younger children, and are easy to clean.The Ugly:- if there was anything to possibly nit pick, it's that the orange colored links are slightly too bright. in comparison. They are more neon and stick out.
