My Epson wasn't printing blue and a little online research showed me that the printhead might be clogged. The first inspection showed very little visually which is why I bought this cleaning kit - and damn what a difference. The instructions require you to pour the contents of the plastic container into a glass container and heat the liquid to about 140 degrees. I assume this helps dilute the liquid for better cleaning. I do not know. Anyway, 30 seconds in the microwave did the trick and after a few minutes I poured it back into the plastic bottle and attached the rinse tube. BEFORE YOU START, make sure to line the carriage under the printhead with paper towels, otherwise you may damage the printer. Here's how it worked for me: 1) Heat it up as written. 2) Line the bottom of the cart with paper towels. . Change colors after every wash. 3) Use 4ml washing liquid for each color. 4) I processed #3 twice. 5) After cleaning, rinse with water to remove liquid. 6) Let it dry overnight. Morning. Run a nozzle check and printhead cleaner. The print is like new again!
