This was a Christmas present for my 15 month old son. He loves to! His legs couldn't touch while riding, but that didn't stop him in the slightest. It came with the base already assembled so all I had to do was attach the plush horse to it with 4 nuts and washers. Very easy! Appears to be of good quality. The base is just sanded pine with no varnish so it can be vulnerable to liquids. It doesn't come with batteries and to be honest I'm fine. He has so many other toys that make noise so I'll just leave this game without them for a while. He has room to grow with him. In general very satisfied.
