Never Enough USB Ports

I don't know what my USB is, but I'm always missing ports. I bought this to replace a round bushing whose body fell apart within a few months (but I stubbornly continued to use it anyway). Eventually the ports themselves started to fail, so I finally gave up and started looking for a new one. Let me tell you that a strip of ports is way better than a round hub. Rather than having cables sticking out in all directions, it fits neatly, thinly, and discreetly behind my monitor, yet is easily accessible. I also never thought that "on/off" switches would be so handy. My old hub didn't have this, but it's really useful for some USB lights that don't have an on/off switch. Better than plugging and unplugging them every time you use them. I also tend to turn off my webcam when not in use to calm myself down (yes, I'm paranoid). Speeds so far seem pretty high for most things too, although my portable backup drive was copying too slowly for me through this hub, so I moved it to my direct ports instead. Otherwise a great buy for the price. I'm actually considering getting another one because... (see title).
