Review on 50-Count Dingo Twist Sticks Rawhide Chews Made With Real Chicken by John Maynard

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Dogs USED to enjoy these! UPDATED: Black specs on them. UPDATE AGAIN: They sent me 2 free packages and another one.

My dogs love these. I have two dogs, so they get a little possessive about them. It's cute when they hold them between their paws and chew on them. Sometimes they pick them up and carry them around in their mouth, looking like they're smoking and toking on a big ole stogie (cigar). They enjoy these, and I keep them in each car, and give them to friend's dogs, with owner's permission. That's why I buy the BIG bag!UPDATE AUGUST 2015: Soon after I wrote the review above, the dogs stopped liking them. So for almost a year the three dogs in our family quit even picking them up. I always kept the packages sealed, as I wanted to keep them fresh. Today I finally decided to look at the package, and there are little tiny black spots on the sticks. I shook the package and took a photo. Some are bigger black things, the size of a peanut. They don't look like bugs, as I don't see feet or a mouth.I talked with tech support of Dingo, and he said he never heard of such a thing happening. So sending letter with photos to him, hoping to be reimbursed with them. My dogs used to love them. And now I learn they are made in China, which it says on the label. It also has sorbitol, which gives humans (like me) diarrhea. Good thing I'm not chewing on them, too!UPDATE AGAIN, SEPTEMBER 2015: Figured out that I purchased them in 2014, and not positive they were the exact ones I purchased from Walmart. I told Dingo that, and to forget about any problem with them. Today I received two 50 piece packages, and a package of Dingo Market Cuts chicken jerky. My dogs still won't touch the Dingo twists, but one likes the jerky. The jerkys are make in USA.
