Review on mygreen Small Canvas Crossbody Messenger Bag: Your Perfect Work Companion! by Hector Trung

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surpasses practicality, finish and looks at a modest price.

If you look, there are several iPad cases like this one, all in the $20-$26 price range. This one was advertised for $20 but with shipping and shipping for $6. I was attracted by the magnetic closure on the front flap and the beautiful chocolate brown color of the zippers. Although it offers 5 colours, I went with black which is actually a nice charcoal gray in close-up shots. The canvas material has lots of texture and a very slight acid finish which I like. A canvas strap on the handle and a chocolate brown shoulder strap complement the zips nicely. Excellent distribution of pockets inside and out. My iPad Air is housed in a Thule Atmos case, which is thin but strong enough to fit in the back compartment in a padded case for added protection. There's also a plastic folder in the back compartment where I keep letter-size pages folded in half, about 1/2 inch thick. The main compartment has room for two medium sized books or one Bible sized book, with two nice inner pockets for iPad chargers, cables etc. The front pocket is also spacious and can fit a small Kindle or a mini iPad. All inner pockets are lined with nylon (unfortunately dark brown) except for the back of the front pocket. The side pockets are too narrow for a phone in a proper protective case, but great for pens and markers. The two zippered pockets on the front and back flaps only fit small items such as folded plastic bags (the pocket is not waterproof) or a cell phone. There's also a zippered pocket on the inside of the back flap, again for thin items only. The magnetic closure of the front flap offers a good combination of sufficient holding power and easy handling. Although the fit and workmanship is very good, it does not correspond to the robust professional level of a Think Tank photo or laptop bag. But hey, they're three times the price. This bag gave me the first impression that it was too small. But then came a pleasant surprise. It turns out I'm used to big bags for carrying all my stuff around and this bag manages to do it all in a noticeably smaller package thanks to its great design. Rather than being too small, this bag has the benefit of excellent compact efficiency. Five stars for extreme practicality, workmanship and looks at a very modest price.
