Review on 🎧 Sony CD900ST Studio Monitor Headphones - Professional Stereo Headphones by Jeffrey Sanders

Got the MDR-CD900ST because it looked a bit like the Sony DR-S3 (my only on-ear headphones from the 80's to the last few years), not even sure what he was good or not good. There must be good reasons why this product is one of the rare models from Japan. One of them has to be the "clear background" sound signature I heard in an old Sony model I happen to own. I ended up really liking it for my purpose of using it for the casual audiophile. The sound is fantastic when paired with high powered EQ amps as it adds no coloration to the sound produced by the amp. I found it lacking when plugged directly into a computer or cellphone and too quiet due to the linear-sounding audiophile amps.
