If you have an old car, you need them. If your car has a battery, you're going to need it.
Clean battery terminals are a must. You need to change the fluids in the engine, do all the maintenance, but DON'T FORGET the battery! These tools are very helpful. Be sure to spray a small amount of terminal cleaner on the washers before replacing the terminals on the battery and checking the battery fluid level.
