Review on Bissell 2035M MultiClean Garage Cleaner by Jessie Ritchie

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This vacuum cleaner works great for me.

I am an elderly gentleman, retired engineer and craftsman. I have a shop and work with wood and metal. I use the vacuum cleaner in the shop and for various tasks like cleaning the boat, car, truck and all the outdoor clutter. Each of them has its own cleaning functions. My previous shop vacuums were Craftsman and Rigid. I decided to get a new vacuum cleaner because my old vacuum cleaner was too big and heavy and the suction hose could kink and break in no time. After reading many reviews I decided on this one and I am very satisfied. I think some of the previous comments need clarification before I give my own. The drum of this vacuum cleaner is made of steel, not aluminium, which is checked by a magnet. It's about the same thickness as a 55 gallon keg, which is difficult to dent.2. Cable length 19.5 ft.3. The rear wheels are 4 inches in diameter, the front wheels are smaller and it follows me like a puppy but has only used it on hard surfaces so far. Here's what I think 1. I like the size and weight of this vacuum cleaner. My previous vacuums were bigger and heavier and more difficult for me to handle. I would empty them before they fill their capacity due to the weight. 2. It has a handle at the top. It wasn't on my list of things I wanted, but it had to be. easy to move around and loves going up and down stairs. One hand for me and the railing and one for the vacuum cleaner. It's also nice to be able to reach the side of the boat and grab it. No problems attaching or detaching. 4. I like the hose. The spiral wrap is smaller in diameter, flexible and I think protected from kinking or breaking. Facilitates access to hard-to-reach places such as cars, trucks or boats. Practical cable compartment with quick release. It keeps the cord under your feet while you move. Just wrap the cord around my old vacuum when you move it. Didn't always work.6. It sucks! Did an unscientific suction test and compared this vacuum to my old one. Give away the hose, try to pick up metal parts, etc. etc. etc. In my opinion, this device has a much larger mud.7. It has a large main filter that is easy to clean. I just walk out of the store and bang it on the big rock until it stops dusting. Put it back in the vacuum and the red/green light will turn green again. Dust on the secondary filter has not yet been noticed.8. The stick is telescopic and adjustable. It can be adjusted from half length to full length in about 1 inch. Another feature that comes in handy in tight spaces. Haven't used it for liquids yet so can't comment on that. Haven't found anything I didn't like. Hope this review helps
