The speakers will only work if you connect the cables from the DVD player to the subwoofer and then connect all the speakers to the subwoofer.
Hey, terrible design. The speakers must be connected to the subwoofer, the volume of the speakers is controlled by the volume switch on the subwoofer, which also controls the volume of the subwoofer. So you can't have individual audio control via the remote control. To turn on the speakers, you need to turn on the subwoofer. Terrible design
