As a professional church AV integrator to say I was skeptical about this microphone is an understatement. However, I took a chance after being introduced to him by a client and I've never looked back. It's at least as durable as an OEM product, but is actually a little easier to use and adjust, much closer to the Countryman's style, shape and fit, but at a fraction of the cost. In practice we see 3-4 years of service before a replacement is needed which is amazing for the money.
