Although I had read other reviews that suggested this battery would not work I figured I would decide when in doubt. I couldn't be more wrong. The battery was connected well, but as soon as I turned on my device, this horrible smell started to fill the air. It was the smell of a burned battery (which was also hot to the touch). It's possible, as others have said, that the wires on the battery were crossed and that was causing the burning smell. Not wanting to risk disassembling the packaging and rearranging the cables, I asked for a battery change. Hoping it might just be the wires messing up, I sent a replacement and they hit 2/2. The battery didn't work and the same smell came from the 2nd battery. I then sent both batteries back for a refund. Both items were returned and received within a few days and no refund was sent. Then, after a normal two week return period, I turned to Revain for help. Revane informed me that they had both items and received them shortly after I shipped them. Luckily, a customer service rep immediately sent a refund. Total 0.00000/5 stars. The whole process was a mess from start to finish and it ended up costing me money to ship the battery so it was a lost cause. Couldn't be more disappointed.
