I am so happy with this bed skirt. It looks so elegant. I have a large bed with a very hard mattress that is 14 inches deep. Add a box spring and my bed frame, it's high off the ground. With no help lifting the mattress to put on a regular bed skirt, I tried one that came with an elastic band. It was really too short and the elastic stretched so it doesn't hang properly. I tried unsuccessfully to find covers that would make the petticoat unnecessary. So I decide to try this one. As mentioned in some other reviews, it is very crumpled when it comes out of the box. But I threw it in the dryer to smooth out the wrinkles and it came out perfect and so soft. I removed the mattress and put the skirt on the box spring. The split angles were perfect and the length was perfect. I actually used safety pins on each corner to keep them in place when I put the mattress back on. It worked. I love it. I would definitely recommend this.
