Review on Zoku Mini Pop Molds: 9 Miniature Popsicle Molds with Sticks and Drip-Guards, Easy-Release BPA-Free Silicone for Perfect Homemade Frozen Treats by Reed Nuttbrock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It was great when 2yo was sick!

They are just perfect for my 2 year old son! I bought these because he can't eat regular popsicles without melting and getting gooey and it really is the perfect size. I can use any fruit juice or yogurt and I know what he's eating! I was torn between these and larger flakes because my son is very large for his age (100% height/weight) and I thought they might be too small. but I'm glad I have it. The sticks are made of hard plastic and are a few inches long, but don't feel like a choking hazard as there's a drip guard that makes them fairly wide. The base is a hybrid of hard plastic and silicone cups — you pour the juice to the fill line, switch sticks, and pop it all in the freezer overnight. When he takes one out, the cup turns over and he takes pleasure in putting it back in. There are 9 little chopsticks to keep track of, but we keep them in the little dishwasher basket between washes. It occupies the bottom surface of the ice cube tray and is slightly higher. Obviously it needs to be flat while it's freezing so the liquid can't spill out. I am very happy with them. The only problem is that I can't find replacement sticks at Revain. So if I ever need them, I'll probably order them directly from zoku. ) and didn't want to eat. I put in some Gatorade/vitamin water/fruit juice with a pinch of sea salt (he doesn't like pedialitis), waited for them to freeze and he loved them! They're tiny, but I was so thankful that he got some liquid with electrolytes and sugar in his little upset tummy.
