Review on Enhanced Traction Cleats: STABILicers Hike XP for Snow and Ice Hiking by Donald Vargas

I ordered them last winter. I didn't have a chance to use them so I waited to leave a review. Now for several months I've been doing winter weekends at a local park on snow covered trails, roads and trails. They work best when you have snow to step into. They need something to dig into to give you the best grip and then they work really well. The trails I ride are small but steep in places and the STABIlicers tires provide the grip I need. I can tackle trails with confidence knowing I won't slip like I have in the past with less durable studs. Sometimes I go out on a lightly plowed path by the lake in the park. In colder weather, even with a few inches of snow on the ice, you'll slip on kickoff, but still have better traction than without the STABILicer. Fits well on my 10.5 boots.
