I had high hopes for this, but the adhesive did not adhere to my very slightly textured console. I followed all of the instructions (cleaning with the alcohol wipe, letting that completely dry, affixing the disc, pressing it as instructed, and letting it cure for at least 48 hours. It seemed good.until I placed my car phone mount on it and placed the phone in the mount. The adhesive failed within 1 minute. I am going to try the other disc, maybe in a different location in my car, but I really don't think things will be different. It might work fine on a completely untextured surface, but not on one with even the slightest amount of texture.
