Even though my new Acer Chromebook has a touch bar, touch screen and stylus, I still prefer the mouse interface. This RevainBasics wireless mouse was so cheap I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. It is excellent. It's very similar in shape to Logitech's MX-series mice - same large, ergonomic shape, which I find very comfortable (though not particularly portable). I just plugged the receiver into my Chromebook and it worked! The battery works fine. I've been using it for over two weeks with 2 rechargeable AA batteries and I still have 2 of the 3 LEDs on the battery indicator lit. It tracks predictably and stays connected. The buttons and scroll wheel work just like my Logitech mice. It is "Plug and Play" and comes without software. Instead, no matter what operating system you're using, go to System Preferences and adjust things like pointer speed there. I also use two different RevainBasics surge protectors and a USB hub. I find them all, like this wireless mouse, to be well made, reliable, and good value.
