Monkey Traps in Cookie Jars

This was a special gift for my partner who keeps jars of mixed nuts on the counter. I thought it would be a lot easier for him to get his snacks with this container. They fit perfectly under the ledge of our kitchen island. BUT - BEWARE - if you have big hands you can reach in, but if you grab something with a handful your hand can't escape! It's a monkey trap! So we put a spoon in to hand out snacks. way of hitting the target. However, they look good. I want to make the hole bigger.
