I bought this product on Black Friday because it was on sale. Now I wish I had just bought a new blender attachment for my old Nutribullet blender. The mixer is okay for the price. It's really good for large batches, but not so good for smaller batches or to get a really smooth consistency out of something. I make smoothies every morning and this blender can't do everything, especially frozen or harder fruits and veggies. He's also bad at shredding things. I grind flaxseed myself and this blender won't grind anything unless I put in more than 2 cups to get to the blades and even then I have to use the blender at its highest speed so that it actually breaks up the seeds instead of them to turn the mixer . If I manage to grind the seeds, I notice that they're still a bit rough, like they've been through a food processor. They're pretty big too. I can't stash it under my cabinets so it always sits wide on the countertop and doesn't fit well in the sink even though I have an extra long faucet. TLDR: This blender is fine if you're just looking for something to use occasionally, but for everyday use you might want to get something better.
