I installed ink cartridges in a brand new Brother printer. We all know how long printer manufacturers are going to make us use their expensive ink, right? I just gave away an old Brother because it became blocked after using cartridges from other brands for several years. So I was worried but decided to try these GPC wagons. Of course, the printer didn't recognize them even after uninstalling and reinstalling. So I pulled them out and installed starter cartridges. After reinstalling the starters, the printer started the installation process when I unplugged it and reinstalled the GPC cartridges. The printer was satisfied and appears to be printing normally after a thorough cleaning. I seal the cartridges at the factory and keep them on hand just in case. What a pain, it all happened while I was moving and it's still not clear if it was the ink that put Big Brother out. Much luck!
