Before purchasing I already had OEM all-weather floor mats (genuine Honda) that I was mostly happy with. Material shows dirt much more easily. However, I don't have any major issues with the front mats; they are suitable as a cheaper alternative to OEM. The driver's side in particular covers some areas of the carpet that were not covered by the original mat. However, the rear mat is a big disappointment. Simply put, the measurements are incorrect, resulting in a poor fit. There is interference between the mat and the truck's plastic liner, causing the mat not to lie flat on the ground. And then there are huge gaps, 3/4 to 1 inch, where the carpet is exposed and the carpet doesn't really protect the carpet from dirt very well. I have to constantly vacuum the rug by lifting the rug as too much dirt goes straight onto the rug through the huge gaps. This loses sight of the purpose of the doormat. At least the Maxliners aren't too slippery when wet, but again, OEM floor mats would be better than plastic in this regard due to the more rubbery material. Also, I think that in the event of a spill, many of the deeper OEM-style grooves can handle damage better than the Maxliner liners, which still eject liquid from all sides. Maxliner insoles are for people who don't want to spend money on original floor mats, but otherwise get what they paid for.
