So for me the installation was easy enough, although I ran into a small problem early on. The included thumbscrews for the VESA mount were too long for my 24" monitor, so I had to use the little nuts lying around to fill in the gaps (I didn't have washers). Not a big deal, but it can be a problem for people who don't usually have such devices handy (when they run into the same problem). Everything about the mount seems safe. It's almost entirely metal except for a few plastic plugs and clips. It basically has no problem servicing my two monitors. I say mainly because it struggled a bit to keep my 32-inch screen from tilting forward under its own weight. I had to REALLY tighten the hex screws to hold them properly. A little advice for those planning to get it. If your desk is against a wall, be sure to route the cables before installing the monitors. It never occurred to me while working, but I'd like to know beforehand. I ended up having to remove the panels to route the cables and then reinstall them, which took extra time and effort. Overall I am very happy with the result. Having two monitors was very helpful and I like that they don't take up too much desk space with this mount. I am very happy that I bought it and definitely recommend it.
