The first hurdle for me was that I was looking for a "bluetooth player" because I needed a player that I can play through bluetooth wireless speakers . This has popped up and admittedly I should have read the fine print but it will NOT stream to Bluetooth speakers. This is a Bluetooth receiver, so you can play other Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as your phone, through this player's speakers with acceptable sound quality. The second deal breaker was that it slowed down after about a week. I checked the belt, it's ok. I ended up having to play 33rpm records at 45 speed and lower the pitch to get them sounding right. Not sure what the problem is, but the lack of a case could be part of the problem - maybe dust and pet hair got in there? While looking for a replacement, I decided that when there are all these sexy caseless turntables out there, a case really is a useful thing. Without them, your vinyl records will get dusty, especially if you have pets, and then you will have to spend a lot of time cleaning your vinyl records.
