I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this, but my 4 year old 17" laptop has been worn out with regular activities such as gaming Pandora for the whole day. I'm not a gamer so wasn't interested in the super flashy neon action. I just wanted a quiet fan situation that would allow me to squeeze more life out of this otherwise perfect laptop. Just received, plugged into USB and it's perfect. Super quiet (and believe me, just a little bit of noise is enough to piss me off) and in less than 5 minutes my laptop is cold and staying cool. Plus, who doesn't like a light laptop in the summer.
