Very good kit for beginner candle maker, contains everything you need

Beeswax, wicks, rich fragrances, dyes. , pot for pouring candles 900 ml, glasses. What I really like about this kit is that it has everything you need to make great candles, and especially useful tools like a metal stirrer and a thermometer (although I recommend using a digital thermometer, a mercury thermometer is better). to have). the batteries are empty). If you're dying in your digital you'll have something to fall back on, so overall it's a good addition. The flavors are good and the coloring melts easily. I thought it was cute that the dyes were carved in the shape of a heart. One of the plastic lids on the jars was broken so one of my jars didn't have a lid. While the jars don't look great, the idea is to learn how to make candles and then take care of the aesthetic of learning how to make them. - A clear jar hides imperfections that would otherwise be visible in a glass jar. The rule of thumb for soy wax is that you add color once all the wax has melted. Then add flavor based on the oil's flash point Flavor at 185F. If the flash point of the oil is 135, don't add it at 185 or the smell will burn out. If the flash point is 200°F then 185°F can be added as this number is lower than the flash point. Once you've added the scent, stir for 2-3 minutes to fully incorporate the oil into the wax, then wait for the temperature to reach 135-140F and POUR SLOWLY. If you pour too fast it won't seat properly, gaps will appear and you can get craters and visible imperfections. Tip: keep some wax in a jar so when your candles start to cool if there are holes in them, you can heat the wax up a bit and pour it over the imperfections. Overall I like this set as it contains some very useful tools and a beginner can use them to make quality candles, although the jars that contain them are relatively bland.
