So far I like this product. I have longer hair and my old comb was over 10 years old and could not be salvaged at the time and I knew I had to make the right choice when I had to replace the old one because I was planning on keeping this new comb for a similar period of time , and it's a long-term commitment. I was looking for something as eco-friendly and affordable as possible. I needed to find something plastic free and biodegradable. After researching several options I settled on the Be Kind brand and have been very happy with my purchase so far. The bristles are strong yet flexible so they are easy to detangle without too much effort, the spatula is comfortable to hold and the brush itself is easy enough to clean when used daily by 3 people who shed like huskies (sometimes this is a real problem). My son who doesn't shed loves the fact that he now has his own comb. I drilled a hole in the handle for easy hanging as I have a tiny bathroom and had no other option to store it. The bamboo wood was chipped a bit but sanded a bit and it was brand new and ready for its new home!
