Review on 📱 Enhanced DIRECTV RC71 Remote Control for Optimal Functionality by Janet Aranjo

I bought this remote control to use with an older Direct-TV HR24-500 receiver. This remote is for newer models but I bought this as a replacement for the RC65RX which is an RF (Radio Frequency) remote. This is also an RF remote but will not work with older receivers in RF mode. I knew this when I bought it and since they can all work with IR (infrared) I gave it a try. Once your receiver switches from RF mode back to IR mode and your TV brand is set, they will work fine. The reason I didn't update the receiver is because I have too many saved shows on the external drive and didn't want to lose them. I hope this remote control lasts longer than the old ones, which sometimes gave problems after just a few weeks. I don't think any of them lasted 6-8 months. I'm about 6-8 weeks now and haven't had any problems, fingers crossed.
