Review on 🔍 Lowrance HST-WSU 200 KHZ Transom Mount Transducer: Black, Enhanced Sonar Performance by Robert Jaskolski

I bought this converter because I needed an extra one. There are no complaints about the sensor itself. It is exactly the same as the one that originally came with my Eagle Cuda sonar. However, I have one complaint. The owner's manual for my Eagle fish finder is very clear that you MUST install a 3 amp built in fuse. If I MUST install it, why isn't this converter included? If I had known, I would have ordered one. I tried to find one locally but found the fuse holders for such a small amp to be very difficult to find in most retail stores. I've found many 30A fuse holders, but the wires on them were 12 gauge and WAY larger than the wires on this sensor (which are very small - more like 22 or 24 gauge). So do yourself a favor by ordering this converter - also buy a WATERPROOF built in fuse holder that will hold 3 amp fuses and has some wiring. This way you have everything you need to install. The converter itself gets 5 stars. Minus 2 stars because the built in fuse holder needed for installation is not included (or even mentioned as being needed in the item description).
