The design is ok but I put a bead of liquid CA where the metal meets the handle.
I actually use this to clean 1mm electrical connectors. The file is surprisingly strong for its size and holds its shape even after bending. Everything is fine with the design, but after reading other reviews I smeared liquid CA on the junction of the metal with the handle, just in case.
