I bought these earrings in mid-June because I needed them for my outfit. They shine at first glance, aren't too big and can be worn for both semi-formal and casual occasions. However, after a few wears (I mean about 5) they lose their shine and start to rust. I am aware that this is not white gold or any other high quality material, but sterling silver should last a little longer. Mind you, I don't shower with them or keep them in a humid place. They are in good condition. If you've only been looking for hoop earrings for a few months, then this is for you. However, if you want a product to last longer, invest in something higher quality - it will last a lot longer. My guess is these earrings are not sterling silver, they are now more rusty and yellowish in colour.
