I needed a lightweight seat that I could attach to a backpack and carry with me into the bushes. It's definitely light enough, I'm willing to wear it for some distance. It's not a chair, don't expect your whole ass to be cloth, but it's wide enough to lull my 300 lb butt enough to take the weight off my legs. The height off the ground was good and it seems sturdy enough for light to moderate use, only time will tell. I'm not suggesting you try to rock on it or hop up and down, it might be too much, but it was fine to sit on with minimal movement. I'm assuming the pins and holes holding the legs together are the first to fail so just check them before each use, but at the time of writing they were still perfectly fine. Getting two for the price was great my wife can use the other one.
