I first bought this in my normal size, small - which was nice and draped loose from the body (no cling), but I could literally pull the dress away from my body like a tent (or if I bent over, it hung down and gaped wayyy too much in the front v-neck). I returned the small for an extra small - and it's perfect. I would say these (solids are 95 cotton, 5 spandex) run on the larger size. They feel like a rayon/spandex mix, but the tag says cotton/spandex. The material is not see through, but it is thin, so it will show the dents of your bra straps on your back -but then the material sort of "drops" so that it doesn't cling to your bottom etc. so you can't really see underwear lines etc. I'm glad I returned the small for the extra small. It also is the PERFECT length - I am 5'4" and these just barely graze the bottom of my ankles. I love it. It's also nice to have a normal t-shirt top, so this style is easy to wear with a bra. I found some of the spaghetti strapped styles just hung heavy throughout the day - where my bra would start to get exposed. You don't have that issue with the t-shirt top of this style. I happily ordered 3 more!
