Alpha Female: Boots and Paw Covers

Spoiler alert: I agree with some of the other reviewers who have pointed out that the durability of PawZ dog boots seems to have changed. I'm not sure what happened or why, but my pup can easily (and repeatedly) rip off more than 2 shoes on one walk. But I have to admit that my pup's breed can be manic. As the alpha in this house, sometimes I have to do things to my pup that he doesn't like. Brush your teeth, go to the vet or put on PawZ. It can be an uncomfortable experience but it must be done because it is better for my pet. When it's time to put the PawZ on, my pup tries to avoid me. The Alpha finds him and usually rolls him onto his back and pushes him against the wall. This gives me access to all of his paws at the same time. Once the PawZ is turned on, it goes on its fun walk until it sees its leash and remembers we're going outside. Outside, he pushes himself through the snowdrifts like a truck. With PawZ, he can walk on salty and muddy sidewalks without limping or in pain. He has no traction issues (I can look back and see his paw prints in the snow). And with PawZ he can enjoy long walks in winter. Worth it. When I contacted PawZ with questions, the customer support team was very responsive and positive, offering product suggestions and assistance. As a result, there is no other product that I trust my pup's paws to.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Big and bulky
