The tape seems good and very durable but is actually pretty thick. Others said it wasn’t though, so I cut off a bit and tested to see how much the glue side melts down. Its definitely way too thick for a tear in the delicate nylon/polyester on puffer down jackets if you are trying to mend something invisibly. I got the dark green, and the glue side is a much lighter yellow green fyi. Four stars because I’m sure it’s great and the quality seems fine but it wasn’t suitable for me. If you’re looking for something similar to my needs, I ended up just finding a very thin piece of polyester scrap and placing it inside the tear, then using thin double sided hemming glue tape to gently fuse them together. It worked great. It’s not a high traffic area that torn, it’s just very visible, so just lining up the fabric at the tear and gluing it from the inside worked.
