Bottom line, if it means anything to you, I'll buy these gloves again. Don't expect too much: these aren't premium alpinestar gloves, but they are quite different from useless fashion accessories. The skin is tough, the ankle protection is strong, the gel pad is a bit small but nice. When I first got my original pair they were a bit large but after riding in a downpour they got wet and I wore them in the (eventually) sun and the skin on my hands shrank as it dried out. By the end of my second year with them some of the stitching was starting to unravel but I travel a lot and they have served me well. NO cold weather gloves, anything below 50f will get cold. I've tried other gloves for the same price but these are good - not 100% perfect but good enough for 4 stars.
