This belt showed signs of wear just two weeks after it was first bought. Not only that, but STAINS on clothing worn with him! Both of these problems are blamed on the edge of the belt, which has a soft rubber bead running along the edge. The soft rubbery substance seems to wear away anything it touches. I should have guessed that as it has an almost sticky texture, but I was hoping it was simply because the belt was new and the stickiness would fade over time. That didn't happen. Instead, the gummy substance turned my khakis black around the waist, and the belt itself had frayed bits of rope poking out at the edges - these started to show after about two weeks, but I didn't notice the stains until later. All in all, not only is this belt not worth the price, it also cost me over $50 by ruining a pair of pants. If I could go back in time and buy something other than this belt, I would. Also a belt that falls apart after a week would have been better because at least it wouldn't ruin my pants! If I could put zero or negative stars I would.
