Review on πŸ”₯ Magiques: Twin Probe Wireless Remote Digital Meat Cooking Grilling Smoking Thermometer with Large LCD Backlit Screen - Ideal for Smoker Kitchen Oven BBQ by Steve Willis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Less stress when smoking!

Our grill is right outside our kitchen door but the smoker is about 70 feet up the hill! One of the most important things (my wife tells me) to successful smoking is maintaining an even, constant temperature. That used to mean going to the Smoker's every half hour or so to check the temperature. Most of our smokers take 7 or 8 hours, even longer - it should be a real routine. Enter Magiki. The size of the transmitter is perfect for our cramped smoker and transmits the exact temperature inside the box as well as the internal temperature of the meat accurately enough to reduce travel time to the smoker unless the fire needs to be adjusted. . The old door thermometer for smokers always showed at least 15 degrees, mostly too hot. The signal also passes through two sets of frame walls to easily get to the monitor. The battery life is pretty good. Yesterday it took a little over 7 hours to smoke the dried chicken. There are no battery life issues at all. MY only complaint is that an additional form of clip that allows you to mount the monitor in a secure location is not included, but it does have a good clip and magnet strong enough to carry in your pocket or on a smooth surface to hold the steel surface. Immediately ready for use after inserting the batteries! It would be nice if batteries were included, but we always have them on hand.

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY: Each dual sensor wireless digital meat thermometer comes with a 1-year warranty. The magnetic back makes it easy to attach to metal surfaces, it could be your best BBQ thermometer.
Cons
  • A few little things
