Review on Spilay Dollhouse Miniature Furniture + Handmade Dolls & Accessories by Ryan Cornelius

This is my third miniature dolls house set I've been working on and the first to finish assembling because I was so excited when I got it that I just had to have it started. This is by far the cutest of these sets I've found at Revain. Why is this the best set? Not only does the carousel have a light above it and play music, but it spins when you spin it. When I received my set the music box wasn't actually working and unfortunately this is spinning the carousel so I wrote to the company. and they replied very quickly and sent me a new one. I'm just starting out with these miniature houses, but my ultimate goal is to use them to build my own little Christmas village, so I added some Christmas trees to my spruce. high. For me, part of the fun with these sets is customizing them to really be yours, so I made some small changes to this one too, like making the bottom level a takeaway ice cream counter. I swapped out some materials to build a milkshake maker instead of a coffee maker and I had small clear pen caps that I used as shaker glasses. On the top floor I pinned a wreath pin to the wall and made a sign to hang over the dining bench. I also made some tiny wine glasses to fit in the included wine bottle and I flipped one side panel so the door was at the back. There was enough clear plastic sheeting in this kit to cover both this open door and the entire front of the top floor, and there was some left over. (None of these are covered in the instruction manual, but I knew I wanted them covered, so I tried to be very careful with cuts in the clear plastic sheets.) My kit also had an extra LED, and I was able to use it it to light a star on the great tree on my upper level. This miniature house set arrived on time and in perfect condition. As for the cost, it's worth every penny and was great to work with Spilay when my jukebox wasn't working. I would definitely order from them again.
