This "coconut" oil is very greasy. I use coconut oil to keep athletes at bay (caprylic acid). I was fine for a few years but recently it ended. A few months ago I was on a tight budget and decided to try this brand as it was affordable. After a few weeks my athletic foot returned. I thought something was wrong as it seemed too thick. Regular Fractionated Coconut Oil is fully absorbed within 2-3 hours maximum and does not feel overly greasy upon application. This stuff is like rubbing yourself with a vegetable and takes at least 5 hours to absorb. I had a suspicion that it could be mixed with mineral oil and got some baby oil to compare with. Both felt exactly the same on my skin! I then used this product, baby oil, regular coconut oil, and fourth fractionated coconut oil as hand controls for testing. After 3 hours regular coconut oil and other brands of fractionated coconut oil are completely absorbed. This product and baby oil were still oily and hardly absorbed. After switching to another product, my athletic foot was completely gone again. This stuff is great for moisturizing your skin (like mineral oil) but for my purposes and for the money spent I feel like I didn't get the product I needed or medically paid for. Too many reduced fractionated oils and this seems to be one of them.
