Review on Moen 186117 Magnetix Remote Dock: Convenient Chrome Holder for Handheld Shower by Justin Bradford

Love the idea of this shower head. It was easy to install and the aerator was very easy to remove. The hose is a bit flimsy and feels cheap, but not too bad. The problem I had with this shower head was the remote dock. I bought this for my youngest son as he cannot reach the shower head but he is too old for his mother to help him shower. I placed the remote dock at about 5ft which would be perfect for him to shower and reach for the nozzle to use as a hand sprayer. Problem: You cannot change the angle and/or direction of the nozzle. When the showerhead is on the remote dock, it flows at right angles to the wall, eliminating the need to use the "shower" dock. Also the water sideways a bit and it's actually a shower door which means I can't turn the water on and then open the door to get in if it's a secluded jetty. If the dock was adjustable it would be a home product. Anyway, that's the way it is.
