Review on 🔧 RH 1027 8 Medium: Trustworthy Hardware Solutions by Reliable Hardware Company by Justin Albright

I have built several gearbox cases and wanted to protect the corners during shipping. I searched long and hard for these corners, actually bought the smaller ones first and then ordered this one. They are very large, almost 2 inches from the side, each of the 3 sides is exactly the same. I find they complement both the looks and the strength of the boxes. When attached to all 4 corners of the box, they hold the base about 1/8" off the ground. This is very heavy gauge steel; they protect the box and help hold it together by tying each of the sides together in the corner to prevent damage to the box.After working with some expensive commercial travel boxes I decided to make my own.Using these corners to protect the case I was able to make my own 3/4" ply boxes that are as strong as very expensive professionally made boxes Of course I've also added secure latches like these Reliable Hardware Company RH-1688/0371-A Large low profile butterfly latch and retainer to complete the look of the box An I also added these side guards to the sides where they were long and might need extra support Reliable Hardware Company RH-1707-8-A Road Case Clamp, Medium Size, 2 Holes bring in rivet/screw protectors that keep the sides very secure. Those corners are secure. Photos are included to give you an idea of how they will look in use. The photos don't show the items very well so I hope they help. This suitcase contains a Honda alternator, so it's quite large. 5 stars, very durable, well thought-out stable corners.
