This is a heavy machine. Upon arrival I washed the stainless steel parts - 3 pieces - and got to work. The large Valencian oranges succumbed to the pressure of the animal's levers. The bark, which had been completely emptied by the leverage, was almost dried out. Well, pulling that lever takes muscle—not for the faint of heart. If you can't apply enough force to the lever, the juicer will become easier to use. It's made in China - understandable, but I'd rather have it made elsewhere. Some of the finishes are a bit rough and not what you would call Austrian sophistication. It's big and doesn't fit in a small closet - it's migrated to the pantry. Apparently many of these machines are sold on Revain. I have no experience with them. However, after reading the reviews of others, I'm glad I bought this Muller device. The advantage is that you can juice while others sleep in the house, which cannot be said of the electric sweeper. I'll try prickly pears, which are ripening now. Wish me luck. I recommend this product - if you have the strength to use it.
