Bought 7 of these emergency radios from 3 different vendors for myself and others. After 9/11, we'll carry them in our pockets just in case. Emergency radios give off bright light for several hours and have good radio reception. It takes days for a solar panel or crank to turn on long enough to charge everything, but USB charges that pretty quickly. The big lie is that these radios have an SOS signal and that is the main reason I bought them. The SOS alarm is explicitly advertised in point 1 of the radio description, but is not available. Out of 7 radios only 1 received an SOS because after I complained to Revain the seller refunded one and sent the SOS version of that radio to an elderly relative in another state. It's not that vendors didn't know there was no SOS signal, they've been doing it for years, but they've continued to advertise a non-existent distress signal.
