I really wanted this backpack to be as good as the eBags TLD Professional. I spent hours looking at different bags. Seemingly similar design but at a much lower price. This is a long review, but I've broken it down so you can get the answer you're looking for without having to read it in full. The pros and cons are listed below. One of my favorite things about this backpack is that it stands on its own and doesn't "flop" or fold on its own. My comparison and thoughts are below. If you want a shorter version: If you're on a tighter budget but want something functional and professional, this is your best backpack choice, but it's not designed for travel or carrying large items. Space: Unfortunately I wouldn't say these are comparable in terms of volume and that's the only downside to this bag. My only criticism of the compartments is that I loved how the main compartment expands when you open it. It really just means that if you put something in and close the bag, I almost always have to force it closed while the zipper closes. The eBag has a fully open main compartment that does not need to be force closed. However, it's perfect for a simple work bag with a laptop, some loose change and some books. I used to pack my gym in my old bag and put my shoes in my water bottle with a few clothes almost filling the compartment. Quality: top quality! I am very impressed with the quality of this bag. I have zero complaints. It looks professional and feels great! I would even say it's a bit more convenient than eBag. I think part of it has to do with the size and how well it sits on my back. The stitching is strong which is important to me considering I've had the last backpack in daily use for over 9 years. I want something permanent. Compartments The laptop compartment is fairly standard. I appreciate the extra padding on the bottom to absorb shock when dropped. It also has a tablet slot that works great. As I mentioned above, the main compartment is a bit small, so keep that in mind when you buy. It also includes two smaller stretchable slots that I can use to store an external hard drive and laptop charger. On one side there is a handy side pocket where I put a few small things, and on the other side there is a water bottle holder that can be used after unzipping. It's a bit small but looks great when not in use. Zippered, it can be used to store other items without fear of them falling out through the zipper - a unique feature. The front compartment has many small space dividers, which really sets this backpack apart and makes it comparable to the eBag. I keep a small selection of things like coins, tissues, flash drives, hard drives, etc. However, it opens at the top and doesn't unfold like an eBag, which was one of my favorite things. An external flap covers this part, making it look sleek and professional. There is also a small zipped compartment on the top (about the size of a ziploc bag) which is great for a wallet or phone - I use it every day. comfort/style. This is where the backpack really shines. This is probably one of the most comfortable backpacks I've ever carried. It has three breathable 1/4 inch pads at the top, middle and bottom back between the straps. The eBag had to either have the straps too tight as I struggled to put them on, or slightly looser which got in the way. The backpack sits lower and is less comfortable. Another notable difference is that the zippers don't jingle all the time like they do in the eBag. I had to buy "flash silencers" for the eBag (didn't even know they existed until I needed them!). There are no annoying clicks in this bag. Reliability The locking system in this bag is amazing! It's so clean and crisp. Some IT equipment. I really like this feature and wish eBag had something similar. ProsBag keeps its shape and "stands" on its own and does not collapse on its own when there are no items inside. .Professional lookHigh qualityMany functional compartmentsVery practical table Fantastic security lockConsMain compartment is too small
