We have used them in several cars since our daughter was born with our Orbit Baby G3 base/car seat and our Maxi Cosi Pria 85 and they do the job perfectly! We have black leather in all of our vehicles and the truck used to have adobe colored leather and they match both types. The first few I bought had a small, cool heat shield built into the base so you could slip it over a car seat in the summer heat. However, my daughter vomited quite a bit in her first year and I could never get the smell of vomit out of them no matter how hard I tried. When I replaced them I was sad to see that I didn't have this heat shield. They have small storage pockets which are handy but don't have a zipped pocket like others. As a side note, sometimes our seats have a little dent when we take out the mat and base/car seat, but that little dent will go away overnight so it's not a big deal. They definitely protect our seats from damage!
