Review on 2021 NexiGo Quad HD Business USB Camera: 2K 4MP Webcam with Privacy Cover, Dual Microphone, 3X Digital Zoom, 95-Degree Viewing - Perfect for Online Class, Zoom, Skype, Facetime, OBS & Teams by Charles Lewellen

I made four (maybe five?) exchanges with this one before finally getting another more expensive webcam from a different brand. The camera itself is fine and initially works for the first couple of weeks, and then suddenly everything starts to fail - during working video calls the camera just stops working or turns off for no apparent reason. This would then mean that I would have to unplug/replug the cable before it worked in these cases, but soon the camera would stop working again. I don't know if it was because of my setup where I connected the camera to a USB hub that connected to my MacBook via USB-C, but I sent it back. I wouldn't recommend this camera due to the unreliability mentioned here - this camera might work if you don't use a Mac, but I think it's something else. The camera cover closes properly.
