I decided to finally, FINALLY downsize from my "mommy backpack" since my daughter is turning 8 and it's just time already. I carry a lot of stuff and yes I've gone through it all and limited myself to absolute necessities. At this point the only thing I carry "just in case" for my daughter is a mini first aid kit, a package of wipes, and a breakfast bar. I still have a ton of stuff--eyeglasses, wallet, phone, lip balm, hand cream, nail scissors, Swiss army knife, nail file, tissues, you name it. This bag somehow holds it all and I am thrilled with the little pockets in the main section, especially the zippered one for my lipstick (just in case the cap pops off it's in a small section of the bag).It will still take some getting used to because my backpack was huge in comparison and I will seriously miss the roomy/netted water bottle side pockets. This new bag is beautiful, but the side pockets are a bit small--I can still fit my huge 24oz Contigo water bottle in the side, though! It's just a bit of a struggle and I have to "mush" the contents inside the main compartment if they're pressing against the side pocket I'm trying to put the bottle in. Overall, I'm very happy with this new, stylish backpack handbag.
