Okay folks. ---> Only for the first time. Just received the shaver today. Spent time on YouTube to figure out how to use it. Did the recommended prep but used regular bridging gel today as shaving soap is coming later. Absolutely no problem. Anyway, I got a few cuts from a safety razor, so don't worry. Watch YouTube videos and be careful. The cuts I get from a safety razor are between the chin and lower lip, right there in the deepest hollow. The same goes for razors. So no big deal. Pretty much what I expected. By learning to wield a razor I am confident that I can completely eliminate cuts at this point. There were about 3 tiny cuts near my left jaw that went away when I washed. Shaved in two steps. Down first. It was very easy. Helped me gain confidence. I rinsed then reapplied the gel and the second step was against the fur. It was more interesting. Just take your time and always be careful. Just keep a constant angle and don't use force. Use nice, confident, light, short strokes. And listen. You hear the mustache trimmed. Then you know you're doing it right. It was easy. I like the razor but I think it's too heavy. As a noob, I plan to use this kit every day for a month or two until I get the perfect result. Then I invest $$$ in a really good straight razor. Result. never mind I really enjoyed shaving with him. Ouch. I saw Geofatboy on YouTube. It has a lot of videos and is easy to watch.
