This meal contains 600 calories per cup. That's more than any other cat food I've seen and about 50% more than regular dry cat food. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but your cats can gain weight if they don't eat extra calories. This food tastes okay. My two cats love it. It's not hard to make delicious food when it's packed with tons of calories. According to the manufacturers, this food does not have as many benefits for the elderly as Hill's or Royal Canin's elderly products. It's still better for older cats than most adult cat foods. The package does not close again. At $12 for the smallest size, I was expecting a better bag. The pieces are paw shaped, approximately 6mm x 8mm x 9mm.
