The taste of cardamom is pleasant. Like German Lebkuchen. Spicy vanilla or something similar. But that's just an added taste. The amount of true essential oils is probably too small to make a difference. I didn't feel any cloves or cardamom. The product turned out to be completely useless, did not refresh the mouth and did not properly clean the teeth. I have sensitive teeth and they have become more sensitive. I didn't mention antibacterial properties. In my experience natural toothpastes can be good for the gums but not for the enamel. They either ruin your teeth or don't clean at all. The price is too high for a small tube of useless product. I will not redeem.
